“ANY ROAD ANY TIME”# - Kawasaki Australia

$23,000ish in Australia.

Good review SilentSod. I couldn’t see me on one of these, mainly too much tech to go wrong, in expensive ways.

# - calling bullshit on that. Kawasaki Australia place it in their “Street” category.

I would be surprised if the TC and suspension were able to hit the any roads that the big ADVs are designed to ride.

I found the package less than compelling especially at this price point

Hard to believe it’s from the same company that makes the KLR-650.

That’s an awful lot of scratch.

I was just in Ireland, and bikes of this type are all over the place there. A lot of the big BMWs and slightly smaller Yamahas.

It's a lot of bucks for a bike and I just don't find it as being as nicely put together as the head to head ADV competition or Yamaha who undercuts by $4k it with a similar feature set.

Huh ;

It looks to me like it's a commuter for the average rich American buyer .

Certainly I like the rack on the back, whenever possible I use my Motos like I use my truck =8-) .

Per JMcG's comment about bikes of this type being popular in Europe I think it's definitely a commute/ small grocery run/do it all bike.

I think slapping all the electronic doodads and not offering the base bike is a misstep. At Tracer 9 money ($15k) it is easier to swallow.

Yabbutt ;

Right now only rich folks have the wherewithal to be buying $pendy new vehicles of any sort .

Every time I leave the U.S.A. I'm amazed and well pleased by the raggedy beater two wheelers those who can't quite buy a cage but still hate riding the bus, buy or cobble together .
